The technology will then be introduced on a pilot basis at Correctional Facility No. 3/2 in Vahdat Township. Facial recognition devices (Face ID), electronic security systems, motion sensors and video surveillance systems will also be installed at several other correctional facilities. The measures are intended to strengthen security, prevent incidents and enable continuous monitoring of the movement of convicted persons using modern technologies.
