Azerbaijan, Slovakia expand military cooperation

Baku, October 29, AZERTACAzerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov received a delegation led by Chief of Defense of the Slovak Republic, General Miroslav Lorinc, who is on an official visit to the country, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC. At the outset, the guests visited the Alley of Honour, where they paid reverence to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva. They also visited the Alley of Martyrs to honour the memory of Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for their country.

During the meeting at Ministry of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov emphasized that the amicable relations and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Slovakia provide a solid foundation for expanding and strengthening bilateral military cooperation. The Minister expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral military cooperation and underscored the importance of advancing these bonds in the future.
