Juba County Commissioner Hon. Eng. Samuel Emiliano Wani Pitia has rejected the reported allocation of four plots of land in Molobur, Lado Payam, to a group of comedians. The group allegedly led by Mr. Yai Thiik is yet to respond to the claims. In a post dated September 6, the Commissioner strongly condemned the alleged allocation after a video circulating on social media appeared to show individuals claiming to be chiefs allocating the plots to the group.

“The Commissioner warns all individuals claiming to be chiefs or exercising customary authority against allocating, selling or transferring land without authorization from the competent land authorities,” the county statement said.
